Shirley Lo-Cadotte began her love affair with all-things-wedding three years ago while living in California. Her professional experience includes catering management and event management with two of the most highly respected vendors in Southern California. Shirley and her family jumped at the opportunity to return to their native country of Canada when her husband was offered a position here in this amazing city of Toronto. Since her arrival, she has wasted no time in cultivating close relationships with the very best venues and vendors that Toronto has to offer.

She is well versed in traditional weddings as well as many cultural wedding customs. She is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese). In fact, she has found her ability to speak Cantonese a tremendous asset on several events that she has planned and coordinated!
Shirley believes in making contributions to worthy causes and the planet on which we live. She donates 1% of her profits to The Sick Kids Foundation. She volunteers at The Bride's Project, a bridal boutique where 100% of the proceeds go towards cancer charities. Double Happiness Events has a full recycling and green waste program; promotes eco-friendly practices in all events that they plan and coordinate; and minimizes its carbon footprint by maintaining a home office and travelling to appointments and events in a hybrid vehicle.
